Guedes: "We know where Getafe will give us problems, but also the quality we have"
The Valencia CF squad are determined to get a run of victories going in LaLiga, beginning with Sunday's game against Getafe CF. Gonçalo Guedes explained the mentality amongst the players in an interview with VCF Media.
"We know what's happened in the last three games, and now we are going to face this game looking to win. It's the only option for us, and we have to give our all. We have to give our all and show a good attitude. We have to change everything to get the win, which is the most important thing," said the Portuguese.

"We need to continue to have the good atmosphere that we have amongst the group. We've got a great group who like to work hard and give everything on the pitch. We haven't got the wins, but with the way we are training and with how hard we are working, I think that the results will come. I hope that this starts with the next game, against Getafe.
"We know what kind of opponents they are, and the difficulties that they might give us, but we also know the quality that we have. We are going to analyse their weaknesses and strengths, and try to minimise the latter as much as possible, attacking the weak points that they have. I think that way we can get the three points."

On a personal level, Guedes has already provided a goal in the Spanish top flight this season. However, he is firmly focused on the good of the team.
"I want to score as many goals as possible, and provide as many assists as I can. However, the main thing, whether I get them or not, is that the team win. That's the most important thing. We're a team, and the individual accolades will come naturally if we are doing well collectively."
